WELCOME TO THE PARENT SUPPORT HUB

I’m Charlotte Speak, mum of two, change maker and coach for parents in the workplace, empathetic listener and avid theme park explorer.

I work with businesses to help attract, retain and develop their utterly brilliant team members who happen to be parents. I don’t finish books if they haven’t got me hooked in the first two chapters. I’m partial to time outdoors. And my values around family, authenticity and creativity lead the way in everything I do.

MORE ABOUT ME

This workshop was timely for me as I’d only returned recently and I was feeling in need of some support and help with making the transition to the new normal. I think that the openness of the other participants in talking about how maternity leave was at the outset was really helpful, and Charlotte facilitated that. All of the content was helpful. I think the strengths spotting was interesting because it was a different and helpful perspective.

Free Events & Workshops

I’d love to get my content and messaging out to as many parents as possible – but that doesn’t mean I work with any old employer! I wanted to figure out a way to share my activities, theories and research into supporting parents in the workplace BEYOND relying on my corporate clients – and so these events (some 1:1, others bigger group stuff) have been created. They will remain free and it’s not a selling tool – it’s a safe space for you to come and hear about fresh perspectives, practical tools to help yourself and ways to build your self-belief as a parent in the workplace.

Power of the Parent - Preparing for a Strong Parental Leave
12PM 9TH NOVEMBER 2022 – FREE ONLINE WORKSHOP

Preparing for a Strong Parental Leave

Looking to start your parental leave feeling calm and connected? This session is for you to help prepare for time away from your employer.

Parents are thrown so much advice about how to prepare for welcoming new family members, but what about the preparation for temporarily leaving the work place?

It can be a huge shift to transition away from the day jobs that have been a huge part of our narrative and shaping who we are, to suddenly venture into this new world where tiny humans are overseeing most of the decisions we’re making.

This session will give you some headspace and ideas on shaping the months and weeks leading up to you moving away from the workplace, help you get clear on how you want to stay connected, give you confidence to have some of these conversations with your employer and start from the very beginning of supporting parents in the workplace.

Preparing for Interview: strengths, boundaries and story telling
12PM 28TH NOVEMBER 2022 – FREE ONLINE WORKSHOP

Preparing for Interview: strengths, boundaries and story telling

This session is for you if you’re feeling a bit ‘meh’ about the whole interview process but want to embrace some fresh thinking.

I won’t tell you how to bring your skills to life or how to deliver a word perfect answer about ‘a time you had to have a difficult conversation’ – instead we’ll share some fresh thinking about the importance of sharing your story, why boundaries matter and how you let your strengths shine through.

We’ll also cover some of the questions you might want to have in your back pocket to do some probing yourself!
